Season 1: 2004–2005
This section contains episode summaries for the first season
of the American drama/adventure television series Lost ; the
season's episodes began airing on September 22, 2004 and finished
on May 25, 2005.
In addition to the twenty-five regular episodes in season
one, a special, "Lost: The Journey", was aired on
April 27, 2005 to put the mysteries of the island and the
characters in perspective in the lead-up to the season finale.

Season 3: 2006–2007
This section will contain episode summaries for the third
season of the American drama/adventure television series Lost;
the season's episodes will begin airing October 4, 2006. The
original airdates (U.S.) are listed here for each episode.
There are twenty-three episodes, consisting of the first
six with a mini-cliffhanger, twelve weeks with no episodes
at all, and then the next seventeen which will premiere in
February 2007. [6] In addition to the 23 regular episodes,
a special, "Lost: A Tale of Survival" will air a
week before the premiere.
Michael Emerson and Henry Ian Cusick will reprise their roles,
this season as regular cast members instead of guest stars.[3]
According to an ABC Press Release, Elizabeth Mitchell will
join the main cast. Kiele Sanchez is contracted to recur this
season. Rodrigo Santoro will also recur, beginning in February.
At the 2006 Comic-Con, Damon Lindelof stated that J.J. Abrams
is set to direct the seventh episode of the season. [4]
