Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Return of Itachi
manga arc. It shows the confrontation between Sasuke and Itachi.
Plot
Naruto opens the door to face Itachi. Kisame also appears,
and is surprised at the puny kid, knowing that the Kyuubi
is actually inside Naruto. Itachi tells Naruto to step outside,
and Kisame offers to cut Naruto's legs to prevent any hassles.
As Kisame moves in for the kill toward a shocked Naruto, a
voice suddenly sounds behind the Akatsuki members.
The voice belongs to Sasuke, who has finally found where
Naruto is. Kisame is surprised that there was another person
with the Sharingan, and that he is very similar to Itachi.
Itachi then states that Sasuke is his little brother. With
incredible hatred, Sasuke prepares Chidori and rushes toward
Itachi. However, Itachi easily grabs Sasuke's wrist, flings
Chidori to the nearby wall, and then breaks Sasuke's wrist.
Naruto tries to help by using his summoning jutsu, but Kisame
just absorbs Naruto's chakra with his Samehada.
Just when things become bleak, Jiraiya finally appears.
Trivia
This is the first time that we are introduced to the chakra
absorbing power of Samehada.
Despite his overwhelming hatred for Itachi, Sasuke's code
of honor still seems to be present, since he openly challenged
Itachi instead of attacking without warning.
Itachi's brutal murder of the Uchiha clan is flashbacked to
in this episode.
